Graduates giving back to their Alma Mater at Congregation 2013
The Congregation 2013 was successfully held on 7 December 2013. It was the first time that the congregation was held on the new campus. In order to celebrate the inauguration of the new campus, Alumni and Development Office (ADO) has prepared the latest UM graduation bears for donation purpose. There are a total of 6 colors of graduation hood representing 6 different faculties for selection to make it more fun.
Graduation bears were ready for pre-order before the congregation. On the day of Congregation, ADO organized a donation booth at the Sports Complex on the new campus with the aim to cultivate the giving back culture among the graduates so that they can continue to support the development of their Alma Mater after graduation.
ADO received great supports from approximately 200 graduating students, family members and UM staff members and have raised approximately MOP27,000 during the Congregation 2013. All donations will be used to support UM’s long-term development via the University of Macau Development Foundation. ADO would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the support given by all the alumni-to-be, family members and staff.
For those who missed the ADO booth during the congregation, please kindly make your donation and collect your graduation bear by contacting ADO at: email@example.com
