The Macao SAR Government is now recommending people who meet certain conditions to receive the 3rd dose of COVID-19 vaccine to enhance the effectiveness of prevention. To cope with the measures, the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) has issued the following guidelines (Attachment 1):

1. In order to reduce the risk of new coronavirus infection and transmission, staff members have the responsibility to follow the epidemic prevention measures by receiving 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine;
2. Starting from November 15, 2021, staff members who receive the 3rd dose of COVID-19 vaccine may apply for 1-day of justifiable absence on the day of vaccination or on the following day;
3. For those who wish to receive the 3rd dose of COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the following link or scan the QR code to make an appointment. https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/covidvacbook
