The “China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Think Tank Forum” hosted by the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao and the Macao SAR Government was successfully held in Macao on September 12, 2022. A total of 10 students from the UM Postgraduate Association and the Portuguese Debating Team attended the forum.
At the forum, experts and scholars from different countries and regions reached a consensus and recognized Macao's "platform role" from different perspectives, believing that Macao is an important channel for dialogue and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most innovative areas, and they give practical suggestions and solutions.
The forum had in-depth exchanges, a warm atmosphere and a positive response. UM students who participated said that the forum has been fruitful and that they will work harder to improve their professional skills in the future. They will take the opportunity and use the valuable resources provided by UM to realize their personal value. At the same time, he actively disseminates "UM's wisdom" to outside, contributes to the social development of Macau, the mainland and the world.
