Dear Colleagues,
In accordance with Article 14 of the Law No. 2/2004 (Law on the Prevention, Control and Treatment of Infectious Diseases) and the current entry measures implemented by the Macao SAR Government during the anti-pandemic period, except for special cases as approved by the Chief Executive, all people entering Macao who have been to countries or regions concerned are required to undergo 14 days of medical observation at the designated locations as required by the health authorities.
In this regard, according to the opinion from the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP), considering that staff members have already known the aforesaid requirement prior to their departure, they should apply for annual leave or advance annual leave for the above-mentioned 14-day period of quarantine/ medical observation.
