For celebrating the 40th anniversary of the University of Macau, UMSU Badminton club is going to organize “The 3rd Badminton Fan Cup of Badminton Club of UMSU and MUST” and please find the details below:
Target Participants:
UM and MUST Students
Categories:
Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles
Date, Time and Venue:
- 18 Apr and 25 Apr 2021
- 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- UM Sports Complex (N8): Badminton Court 5, 6, 7, 8
Singles Event: 18 Apr 2021 (Sunday)
Doubles Event: 25 Apr 2021 (Sunday)
Note:
- Players have to bring their own racket;
- Each Team can register for at most 1 school team or 1 Macau team member;
- Players must wear proper sportswear, such as sportswear and sports shoes. Otherwise they are not permitted to play;
- The badminton shuttlecocks will be provided by the organizers for the use of the competition;
- The side that touches any facility at the top of the court during a match will be deemed to have lost points for the ball;
- Players of doubles matches can only attend the competition with effective nucleic acid test. Otherwise, the players will be disqualified;
- All players are required to arrive at the registration counter 15 minutes before the start of the event with their student ID cards;
- If a player is not on the field for five minutes after the roll call, the player will be disqualified;
- If it is found that the player does not match the registered status, the player will be disqualified;
- All players will be responsible for any injury or accident during the competition.
Prizes:
Champion: MOP300
1st Runner-up: MOP200
2nd Runner-up: MOP100
Registration Fee:
Badminton Club member: MOP20
Non-Badminton Club member: MOP30
