UM Participated in the "2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Students Sports Festival" in Guangzhou
UM was being invited to participate in the "2nd Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area Students Sports Festival" from 8-10 Nov at Guangzhou Sport University. This event was organized by Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Physical Education and Sports Development Alliance.
There were nearly 800 people from universities, high schools and sports associations participating in the event. Besides sports competitions, this event also included a series of activities such as Sports and Culture Tour, Sports and Arts Performance, Exhibition of Sports Achievements, Sports Seminars by Sports Professionals, Conference of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Physical Education and Sport Development Alliance. All participating parties were invited to arrange promotion boards at the Sports Achievement Fair. In this connection, OSA and FED set up the exhibition boards together for promoting UM's sports achievement and physical education courses respectively.
UM has sent UMSU Badminton Club and Table Tennis Club to participate in competition events and the results were as follows:
- UM got the Merit Award in the Badminton Event
- UM got the 2nd runner-up , the 5th place and the Merit Award in the Table Tennis Event
