ICTO Tips – Enable "802.1x Authentication Program"
to connect UM Wired Network in Classrooms or Office
ICTO has setup network cable in most of the classrooms so that staff can establish stable network connection with wired network.
Academic staff may choose to connect wired network in classroom or office according to personal preference.
(3) Run the “Enable 802.1x Authentication Program“.
Notes for using Wired network:
- DO NOT RUN “Enable 802.1x Authentication Program” if you applied to use static IP for the notebook computer. Manual steps to enable authentication can be found here.
