The Arrangement of Campus Management Services between 17 and 23 February after Resuming Operation

Dear Colleagues,

In accordance to the guidelines of the Macao SAR government, the University of Macau will resume operation on 17 February 2020 (Monday). In view of this, the Campus Management and Development Office (CMDO) will gradually reinstate its campus management services, please take note of the following arrangement during the period between 17 and 23 February.

Security and Transport Services

Public Transportation ServiceBus route no. 717273:
  • The first run to 11:00: every half an hour per run
  • 11:00 to 17:00: every hour per run
  • 17:00 to 21:00: every half an hour per run
  • 21:00 to the last run: every hour per run

Remarks:
The overnight bus route no. N6 travelling between UM and Taipa will remain NOT stopping at the UM campus. The bus route no. N6 terminus will be temporarily relocated to Av. Vale das Borboletas/Terminal until further notice.

Campus Loop Shuttle Bus ServiceWill be operated in accordance to the recess schedule.

Dining Services and Outlets

To cope with the anti-epidemic measures, the following dining outlets will only provide takeaway service, all dine-in service will be suspended. Other outlets are temporary closed until further notice.

Guidelines in Air-conditioning Operation

Researches revealed that air-conditioning system is one of the ways that transmit viruses. The proper use of air-conditioning system can avoid and reduce the risk of collective infection and cross infection. Working personnel shall turn off the office air-conditioning system, and open the doors and windows to enhance indoor air ventilation, so as to reduce the risk of transmitting viruses. The following is the guidelines in operating air-conditioning system during the current anti-epidemic period:

Colleagues or personnel who come to work at campus shall undergo temperature measurement when entering buildings or some carparks, at the same time, are obliged to fill the Health Declaration Form every day. Kindly cooperate with the arrangement. Currently, the University Gallery, Library and Sports Complex remain closed and not open for use.

Since it is now still under the critical moment of epidemic prevention, CMDO would like to remind colleagues to stay alert and maintain good personal hygiene. During work at office, please be reminded to put on your mask, wash your hand frequently, and maintain good indoor air ventilation. Thank you for your kind cooperation and understanding!
