MCM College Macau Culture and History: Artworks on campus
 
Moon Chun Memorial College is delighted to invite Professor Tianshu Zhu from Faculty of Arts and Humanities, as guest speaker on “Artworks on campus - How to appreciate and evaluate artworks on campus”.
To appreciate an artwork, Prof. Zhu shared with audience how they can start from knowing the meaning represented behind, the physical and social-historical context it served, and the style and originality of the art piece. By looking closely at two of the sculptures on campus, the audience are able to associate several facts and symbols and integrated what they know from different fields in one.
