Recently, we received feedbacks from students on using Zoom as on-line teaching tool. In order to allow students to have a better experience in on-line teaching arrangements, ICTO would encourage teachers to conduct on-line teaching in the following ways.

Do use the wired network in the classroom for on-line teaching
The signal of the wireless network will be affected by a variety of external environmental factors, and the network traffic will fluctuate according to the usage, especially when a large number of students connect to the same wireless network access point during class. We recommend that teachers connect their laptop to the wired network in the classroom for on-line teaching to enhance the stability of the network.

Don't share your meeting link in public space other than UMMoodle
Don't share your meeting link or meeting ID on public platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to prevent uninvited participants from entering your meeting and posting inappropriate content. We recommend that teachers always publish meeting link in UMMoodle so that students can obtain class information and URL in a unified channel.
