The highest temperature in Macau these few days is 33 degrees or above, the weather is very hot. Work environment with high temperature and intense sunlight will cause excessive sweating and other physical discomforts. In severe cases, it may cause heat stroke and affect the health of the body. Under very hot weather, if people work in a hot and humid outdoor environment for a long time, it may cause dysfunction of the central nervous system, making the body unable to sweat and control body temperature, resulting in heat dissipation in the body and leads to heat stroke.

Measures to prevent heat stroke include:

Wearing light-coloured, light-weighted and breathable working
clothes can reduce heat absorption and help sweat volatilization;
Water and electrolytes should be supplemented regularly;
Should not drink alcoholic beverages to avoid posing work
hazards and the risk of dehydration;
Arrange work rotation reasonably, people who work long hours
in outdoor environments should be arranged regularly to take
a break in a cool and well-ventilated place.

Severe heat stroke may pose risks to one's life, therefore outdoor workers must pay close attention and take appropriate measures to prevent heat stroke.
