Explore the Mystery of Enhancing Cancer Immunotherapy with Chinese Herbal Medicine
Cancer is one of the greatest health threaten to human. In recent years, immunotherapy has yielded unusually brilliant results in the field of cancer treatment. On 14 November 2022, MCM College invited affiliate, Prof. Jin Jian LU, Institute of Chinese Medicine Sciences (ICMS) and his four doctoral students to host a seminar and answer scientific questions. Prof. Lu’s team has been striving to explore cancer immunotherapy from Chinese herbal medicine. They also have been exploring how Chinese herbal medicine works with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors to fight against cancer. Their cutting-edge research sparked participants’ interest, leading to an interactive discussion at the end.
