Dear Colleagues,

In accordance to the guidelines of the Macao SAR government, the University of Macau will resume normal operation from 2 March 2020 (Monday). In view of this, the Campus Management and Development Office (CMDO) will resume the campus management services, please take note of the following arrangement.

Security and Transport Services

Public Transportation ServiceBus route no. 717273:
  • The first run to 11:00 and 17:00 to 21:00: resume to normal operation
  • 11:00 to 17:00 and 21:00 to the last run: every half an hour per run

Bus route no. N6:
  • The overnight bus route no. N6 travelling between UM and Taipa will resume stopping at the UM campus.

Campus Loop Shuttle Bus ServiceWill be operated in accordance to the recess schedule.

Guidelines in Air-conditioning Operation

As it is still under the anti-epidemic period, for the sake of reducing the risk of transmitting viruses and following the advice from the Macao SAR government to Higher Education Institutions and Students, windows of indoor spaces should be kept open as far as possible, should maintain the environment cleanliness and should keep indoor space well-ventilated. In addition to the proper use of air-conditioning system, it can help avoiding and reducing the risk of collective infection and cross infection. For this, the following guidelines is formulated for operating air-conditioning system during the current anti-epidemic period:

In accordance to the Macao SAR government anti-epidemic measures, colleagues or personnel who come to work at campus shall undergo temperature measurement when entering buildings or some carparks, at the same time, are obliged to fill the Health Declaration Form every day. Kindly cooperate with the arrangement. Currently, the University Gallery, Library and Sports Complex remain closed and not open for use.

Although the epidemic situation of Macao is stabilizing, CMDO would also like to remind colleagues to stay alert and maintain good personal hygiene. During work at office, please be reminded to put on your mask, wash your hand frequently, and maintain good indoor air ventilation. Thank you for your kind cooperation and understanding!
