“Stargazing through the Lens of Telescopes” Activity
Stargazing through a telescope is a magical way to bring science alive and allows us to experience the beauty of our natural world. To enhance students’ knowledge integration in astronomy, Camões House of MCM College held a stargazing activity on 20th October 2022 with the support of Macau Science Center. The activity attracted a group of 30 participants, including college students and academic team members. Since this was the first stargazing activity held by the college, everyone headed to Hac Sá Long Chao Kok with excitement. Through experiential learning, the instructor shared the basics of astronomy and stargazing tools, the constellations of the season, followed by stargazing through telescopes, creating an unforgettable learning experiences for all participants.
