Dear colleagues,
To develop the healthy and safe campus, and to popularize first-aid knowledge, Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs has organized first-aid interest courses in the last 2 years and has trained over 100 staff and students on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of automated external defibrillator. The course will be organized again this year with details below. Staff who are interested in first-aid are welcome.
First-aid Interest Course - Staff Session
Content: Current medical staff of the Macao Society of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine will be invited to conduct the course. The content includes basic first-aid knowledge, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of automated external defibrillator. Participants who complete the course and pass the assessment will be awarded with a certificate issued by the institution.
Date: 28/08/2020 (Friday)
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Venue: Dance room, 3rd floor, UM Sports Complex (N8)
Target: UM staff (Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors who have not taken any first-aid course organized by HSEO in the past will be given priority.)
Quota: 30 persons
Registration: Please fill in the e-form by 25/08/2020.
Remarks:
(1) HSEO will sponsor the coach fee for all participants. In order to make good use of resources, please make sure that you are able to complete the course before filling in the registration form.
(2) As the course will be organized during office hours, please seek your unit head/ supervisor's approval if necessary.
