When the number of available rooms is insufficient and equal points occur, it will be decided by a draw.
- SRS will assign the single room(s) randomly to successful applicants and no further adjustment would be allowed for room allocation.
- PGH Points will be deducted for those successful room change applicants. Please consider carefully whether to conduct the room change. |
Option 2 | Single room in S1 to S4 which to be randomly assigned by SRS subject to room availability. | 1) PhD residents who have applied for a single room in the application of 1st semester of AY2022/2023 but were not successful in the single room allocation.
2) Shared room Master residents in S2 to S4 | - 10 | - Priority of single room allocation of S1 to S4 will be given to PhD applicants first, and single rooms will be allocated to eligible applicants according to the sequence of PGH Points. When the number of available rooms is insufficient and equal points occur, it will be decided by a draw.
- SRS will assign the single room(s) randomly to successful applicants and no further adjustment would be allowed for room allocation.
- PGH Points will be deducted for those successful room change applicants. Please consider carefully whether to conduct the room change. |
Option 3 | Single room in W32 which to be randomly assigned by SRS subject to room availability. In addition, if the application for a single room is unsuccessful, I accept to change the application to option 5 - "Shared room in W32 which to be randomly assigned by the SRS". | 1) PhD residents in W32 who have applied for a single room in the application of 1st semester of AY2022/2023 but were not successful in the single room allocation. | -10 | - Single rooms in W32 will be allocated to eligible applicants according to the sequence of PGH Points. When the number of available rooms is insufficient and equal points occur, it will be decided by a draw.

When equal points occur, it will be decided by a draw.
- SRS will assign the shared room(s) with a vacant bedspace randomly to those successful applicants according to the sleeping time and no further adjustment would be allowed for the room allocation.
- PGH Points will be deducted for those successful room change applicants. Please consider carefully whether to conduct the room change. |
Option 6 | Shared room in S2 to S4 which to be randomly assigned by SRS subject to room availability. | 1) PhD residents in S1 to S4
2) Master residents in S1 to S4 | -3 | - When the number of applicants exceed the number of vacant bedspaces, applicants who have already matched with a student who is currently staying alone in a shared room will be arranged first, and then other applicants will be allocated according to the sequence of PGH Points.
