下定決心升學前，你應當回答這三條問題

升學是人生中其中一個重要的決定，因為你將會投放至少一年時間來學習你感興趣的學科，而且你亦需要支付昂貴的學費。我們建議你在計劃升學前，先問自己以下問題。

你對某一個學科感到興味盎然嗎？

找到一門令你著迷的學科是很重要的，因為你將會花時間學習更深奧的知識。

你有哪些就業目標？這個研究生課程是否有助你實現這些目標？

招生人員想要知道你是否適合入讀他們的課程。你應當仔細查看課程目標和課程設置，了解這個研究生課程是否可以為你提供職涯所需的知識及技能。

如果選擇出國留學，你能負擔得起學費和生活費嗎？

儘管繼續深造可能有助於提高您未來的潛在薪酬，但研究生課程的學費可能會很昂貴。除了個人儲蓄或家庭支持之外，你可以嘗試尋找一些經濟援助來減輕負擔，例如獎學金。此外，如果你選擇出國留學，你還應該考慮生活費用。

You should answer these 3 questions before making up your mind for further study

Pursuing further study is one of the most important decisions in life, as you have to devote at least 1 year to study something you are interested in and pay for a tuition fee, which can be expensive. We suggest you ask yourself the following questions before you plan for your further study.

Do you have a genuine interest in a particular field of study?

It is important to find a major of study that fascinates you, as you will be spending time acquiring knowledge at an advanced level.

What are your career goals? Does the postgraduate programme help you in achieving these goals?

The admission officers would like to know if you are the right fit for their programmes. You should look into the programme objectives and course curriculum, and see if this postgraduate programme can equip you with the knowledge and skills that you want for your career.

Can you afford the tuition fee and the living expenses if you choose to study abroad?

Although pursuing further study may help boost your potential salary in the future, the tuition fee of the postgraduate programme can be expensive. Other than personal savings or family support, you may try to find some financial aid to lessen the burden such as a scholarship. Moreover, you should also consider the living expenses if you choose to study abroad.
