Academic Promotion Procedures 2021/2022 and
Academic Recruitment Affairs and Compensation & Benefits
In September 2021, the Human Resources Section (HRS) of the Office of Administration organized two Administrative Workshops focusing on HR affairs of academic staff members. They were namely,
- Administrative Workshop (5) – Academic Promotion Procedures 2021/2022, held on 15th September with 26 participants
- Online Administrative Workshop (6) – Academic Recruitment Affairs and Compensation & Benefits, held on 27th September with 44 participants
Representatives from the HRS introduced a wide range of subjects in the workshops, including workflow, schedule and major stipulation revisions for academic promotion, academic staff recruitment, adjunct and courtesy appointments, medical benefits, provident fund, outside practice, sabbatical leave, etc. for a total of 70 participants from fundamental academic units and independent academic units who handle these issues regularly.
“Administrative Workshops” is a series of seminars/briefings open to administrative colleagues that aims at enhancing work efficiency and enriching the skills of administrative professionals in the University.
