In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized an in-house training course on "The Relationship between the Quality of Life in Mainland China and Macao" on 11 November 2022.

Prof. XU Jianhua, Head of Department of Sociology in the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), shared charts and data related to quality of life, and carried out the analyses and comparison between Mainland China and Macao in the context of economic development and quality of life in the past, present and future. Over 105 staff members participated.

The University hopes that this training can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, know more about the social situation in Mainland China, XXXXXXXX, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.
