UM Staff Joined the COVID-19 Group Vaccination
In response to the Macao SAR Government's call on all Macao residents to be vaccinated against the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to build herd immunity and prevent disease transmission, UM organised COVID-19 group vaccination for staff. This initiative supported the epidemic prevention and control in Macao.
Under the arrangement by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and the Health Bureau, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration held 4 sessions of group vaccination for staff on 10, 11, 17 and 18 March. Over 70 staff members arrived at the health centres in N.S.Carmo and Coloane in batches by UM bus and received the vaccine there. The group vaccination received an excellent response and the quota of each session was exhausted.
