Gain points from Flag Raising Ceremony

The Flag-raising Ceremony for 2020/2021 UM Convocation will be held on 3 September 2020 (Thursday) at the Lotus Square of the University of Macau (in front of N6 Administration Building). In order to assist affiliated Residential College to get the award of "The Most Supportive Residential College for the University of Macau" towards UM National Flag Team, we invite participants to capture or screen shoot flag raising related picture and send back to their Residential College email. Each participant can gain one point for affiliated Residential College.

For Postgraduate Students who participate the live streaming, capture or screen shoot flag raising related picture (refer to the following captured photo) and send back to sao.pgh@um.edu.mo with the title "2020/2021 UM Convocation flag raising ceremony", student id and name. (e.g. 2020/2021 UM Convocation flag raising ceremony-MB123456-Chan Tai Man). Each participant can gain three PGH points.

Submission for captured photo deadline: 6 Sept 2020.

The ceremony will be conducted at the following time and venue, participants who want to attend the Flag-raising Ceremony only need to join the live streaming through Facebook or ZOOM.

Below please find some points to note for flag-raising ceremony:

When the ceremony begins:
  • Mute or turn off your electronic devices
  • Stop any other activities and stand as a mark of respect
  • Stand facing the monitor
  • Sing along with the National Anthem
