Dear colleagues and students,
The 40th Macao Green Week will be held next week to promote ecological education, cherish the nature, and popularize the concept of green living. Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs cordially invites all UM staff and students to participate in the ecological visit to wetlands, with details below:
Date: 26th March, 2021
Time: 09:00 - 11:30 (including travel and visit time)
Venue: Wetlands, Dragonflies and Butterflies Park of Seac Pai Van
Content: Representatives of Municipal Affairs Bureau will guide participants to visit the wetlands at Seac Pai Van, to understand how they transform the area into a habitat of wetland by improving the water environment with necessary facilities and by planting native species so as to attract animals and insects.
Target and Quota: 30 UM staff and students (Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors are given the priority)
Notes:
1) Shuttle bus will be arranged to take participants between UM and Seac Pai Van;
2) Please wear casual clothes and sport shoes. To avoid disturbing the birds and other animals in the area, please do not wear clothes with bright colors. Please bring water, and other sunscreen or anti-mosquito products if necessary.
3) Please wear a mask and have temperature measurement, and show your Macao Health Code on the day of visit.
4) 25 CS of the Whole Person Development Award Program will be given to student participants. 2020-2021 student Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors will also be given 3 HEP FUN.
