Dear colleagues and students,
Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced that as of 6:00, 14th January 2022, all individuals who have been to Nanping Town, Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province and who have entered Macao within the last 14 days, the Macao Health Code has been turned to yellow. They must be under self-management of health for a period of 14 days from the date of departure. During this period, a maximum of 5 nucleic acid tests must be performed on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th and 12th days from the start date of the measure for turning the Macao Health Code to green.
Those individuals who are in Macao must access to the appointment system of nucleic acid test (link: https://app.ssm.gov.mo/mandatoryrnatestbook) to schedule a free test and declare the dates when they were in the area. Those who perform the nucleic acid test with own expenses must make an appointment in the system at least once. The Macao Health Code will be turned to green when the above requirements are met.
Those who are currently in China must undergo the required nucleic acid tests in China. They must then upload the test results to the online enquiry platform （https://www.ssm.gov.mo/covidq). Their Macao Health Code will be turned to green after 14 days of departure and approved by duly authority.

According to the information from China, Omicron variant strain was found on the environmental samples of international mail. Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has reminded the public to handle the products purchased by mail with care.
- Minimize the purchase of products from high-risk areas, especially products from countries and regions with widespread community transmission that are usually transported at low temperature during the delivery and transport process.
- When receiving mails from high-risk areas, masks and disposable gloves should be worn before handling them. Reduce direct contact with the mails. Reduce communication with personnel who deliver the mails.
- As far as possible, the mails should be picked up at a fixed location without direct contact with the delivery personnel. If it is necessary to acknowledge receipt in writing, keep a safe distance from the delivery personnel.
- When unpacking mails, try to do so in outdoor area or in a ventilated area. Outer packaging must not be taken home, and must be disposed of according to the household waste classification. If the mails have to be taken home, the inner and outer packaging can be thoroughly cleaned with a disinfectant containing chlorine or 75% alcohol.
- Take off the gloves after handling mails, disinfect and wash the hands thoroughly, replace the masks, avoid touching mouth, eyes and nose with dirty hands.
