According to Paragraph 2, Article 25, Chapter 3 of the Electoral Regulation of Postgraduate Association of University of Macau, an Interim Regulatory Agency should be established, if the new General Assembly or Board of Directors or Supervising Board is/are not elected on time before the expiration of the term of the current leading organ.

The 14^th UMPA Cabinet has been in office from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2020. The election was not completed as scheduled due to the COVID-19, the Standing Committee and Election Committee of UMPA therefore decided to establish the 1^st Interim Regulatory Agency, and the members are now confirmed, they are:
