Dear colleagues and students,

The academic year is coming to an end. As many of you may leave Macao during the summer recess, Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs reminds all of you to pay attention to the disease development of pandemic COVID-19.

The pandemic situation in the world is still overwhelming. Local cases were found in Shenzhen and Guangzhou recently. Mutant strain of Novel Coronavirus that caused widespread community outbreaks in India was found in the 51st confirmed imported case in Macao after testing. The thread of outbreak in Macao is still existing. Please persist in the anti-pandemic measures.

All UM staff and students are encouraged to vaccinate against COVID-19, so as to lower the risk of infection, serious illness and death. As adequate antibodies will only be developed until 14 days after completing 2 doses of vaccines, you are advised to vaccinate before possible outbreak occurs.

Appointment system: https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/covidvacbook/Booking?lang=en
(Walk-in quotas are available at the newly operated vaccination station at Macao Forum.)

In addition, masks will not be sold in Health Centres and Health Stations anymore. If you would like to buy masks of both child size and adult size, please visit the Health Bureau contracted pharmacies, service points of Macao Federation of Trade Unions, Macau General Union of Neighborhood Associations, and the Women's General Association of Macau.
