Dear colleagues and students,

The pandemic of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia is still very severe in the world. There are also relatively serious situations in some provinces and cities in China. The Macao government urges all residents to stay in Macao during Lunar New Year, and to avoid travelling to places outside Guangdong province.

Public administration workers at all levels of the Macao government should comply with the control and preventive measures, and have the responsibility to ensure public interest and the provision of public services. During the peak travelling period of 4th to 24th February 2021, all of us should stay in Macao, and to avoid travelling to places outside Guangdong province. If one has to be absent from work due to medical observation in Macao or in places outside Macao, it cannot be considered as an unpredictable situation. Unless there are non-attributable reasons and are accepted by the unit's management, it cannot be considered as justified absence.
