MCM College Students Visit Doppelmayr Macau Ltda.

On Wednesday, 12th May, 2021, MCM College students and members of staff were invited by Macau European Chamber of Commerce (MECC) to a very a special guided tour of the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group, currently operating the Sky Cab gondola lifts at the luxurious Wynn Palace Casino Resort in Cotai, Macau. According to Mr. Fabio Fumai, Operations Management, ‘Sky Cabs’ provide a comfortable and ‘an awe-inspiring view’ of the resort from 30 meters above the Performance Lake, which features exciting fountain shows. Mr. Fumai demonstrated to students the paramount importance of safety equipment as well as following strict operation protocols.During the tour, Mr. Dalibor Vodenicarski, O&M Management, allowed students to observe Dopplemayr’s custom-made bullwheels and advanced innovation in ropeway engineering. Mr. Vodenicarski added that his fully dedicated team is comprised of ‘home-grown’ talent who receive further training and professional development overseas at their service subsidiaries in Austria.
