生涯發展中心將於2021/2022學年第二學期開辦免費雅思、托福、GRE及GMAT預備課程，目的是為了協助學生預備入學考試，以提升應試的技巧和信心。課程內容請參閱下方列表。

The Career Development Centre is now offering preparation courses on IELTS, TOEFL, GRE and GMAT for FREE in the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022. These courses aim to help you in preparing for the tests and to enhance your test-taking skills and confidence. Please refer to the table below for course information.

我應如何選擇合適的預備課程？How should I choose a suitable preparation course?
一般大學都要求海外申請者提交托福或雅思成績，以証明其英語能力。GMAT成績為大多海外商科研究生課程的入學條件之一，而GRE成績則為大多非商科研究生課程的入學條件之一。同學應按研究生課程的入學要求而決定報讀有關課程。
In general, universities require overseas applicants to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as proof of their English proficiency. GMAT score is one of the admission requirements for many business postgraduate programmes in overseas countries; whereas GRE score is one of the admission requirements for many non-business postgraduate programmes. Thus, you should enroll for the relevant course according to the admission requirement of the postgraduate programme.

報名方法 Enrollment Method
  • 課程以「登記→抽籤→確認報名」之形式報名，詳情如下：
    The enrollment method of the courses will be by "Registration → Drawing Lots → Confirmation of Enrollment". Details go as follows:

  • 有興趣報讀課程的在讀本科生及研究生，請於09/12/2021 至 21/12/2021 期間，登入電子表格系統，填寫「雅思／托福／GRE／GMAT預備課程登記表」。
    Current undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in these courses, please log in the e-form system    , then complete the "Registration Form for IELTS/ TOEFL/ GRE/ GMAT Preparation Courses" during 09/12/2021 - 21/12/2021.
  • 在登記表上已提交有效報考証明之學生，將獲優先錄取。
    Priority will be given to students who have submitted the valid registration record of the forthcoming tests in the registration form.

Drawing Lots
  • 如登記人數多於課程名額，本中心將於22/12/2021 進行抽籤。
    Quota allocation will be determined by drawing lots on 22/12/2021 if the registration number exceeds the course quota.
  • 所有獲錄取者將收到電郵及短訊（僅限澳門電話）通知。
    All successful applicants will be notified by email and SMS (Macao mobile number only).
確認報名
Confirmation of Enrollment
  • 獲錄取的學生請於27/12/2021或之前回覆電郵確認報名。逾期者將被視作自動放棄。
    All successful applicants have to confirm their enrollment by replying to our email     on or before 27/12/2021. The application shall be regarded as abandoned if no reply email is received.
  • 獲通知候補成功的學生請於30/12/2021 或之前回覆電郵確認報名。逾期者將被視作自動放棄。
    Students on the waitlist will be notified if seats become available, and they have to confirm their enrollment by replying to our email on or before 30/12/2021. The application shall be regarded as abandoned if no reply email is received.
課程按金 Deposit
每個課程按金為澳門元500，交付按金的手續如下:
參加預備課程之學生無須前往生涯發展中心繳付按金，若未能符合出席率規定之學生，會收到學校發出的繳費單，且需在期限前繳付，否則需支付3%的逾期手續費。

A deposit of MOP500 is required for each course. Please follow the below procedure to settle the payment:
Students who participate in the preparation courses do not need to approach Career Development Centre to settle the payment. An E-debit note will be issued to students who fail to fulfil the requirement of the attendance policy. An overdue administrative charge of 3% on the amount due will be charged on the overdue amount after the due date.

出席率規定 Attendance Policy
所有參加者需達到以下出席率規定，否則將被要求繳付每個課程澳門元500的按金
All participants are required to fulfil the following attendance policy, otherwise, deposit of MOP500 per course will be charged:
  1. 出席率達80%，以及
    Achieve an attendance rate of 80%, AND
  2. 完成課程內的模擬測驗（模擬測驗日期請查看相關課程資料）
    Complete the mock tests as prescribed in the course (Please refer to the relevant course information for the dates of mock tests)
報名須知 Enrollment Information
  1. 課程安排將視乎疫情變化，假如疫情惡化，所有預備課程則會改以網上形式繼續進行。
    The course arrangement will depend on the further development of the pandemic. If the pandemic is getting worse, all the preparation courses will be moved online.
  2. 名額有限，每人每個學期只可報讀一班雅思預備課程。
    Due to limited quotas,     each student can only enroll in one IELTS preparation course in each semester.
  3. 在提交報名表前，請再次查看你的日程表。本中心保留日後不接納無故缺席課程的學生報名之權利。
    Before submitting the enrolment form, please double-check your schedule. We reserve the right to reject any applicants who were absent from the enrolled courses without ground reason(s) in the future.
  4. 如報名人數不足十人，該課程可能會被取消。
    The course might be cancelled if there are less than 10 participants.
