Please noted that the Postgraduate House (PGH) 2021 Summer Stay Application Final Results with Room Allocation is attached below:

Payment Period of Room Rate Difference for Summer Stay#
For students who stay in same room / Change to a same room type / New move-in : 2 Jul - 12 Jul 2021

For students need to change to a different room type during the change room period: Aug 2021
#A new debit note will be issued separately to the students who are allocated to Single Room/Suite/Medical Single Room for Summer Stay period after the Announcement of Final Results (With Room Allocation) of PGH 2021 Summer Stay .

C. Settling Payment of Room Rate Difference of 2021 Summer Stay:

      I. E-debit Note will be issued through the Student Information System (SI). (https://isw.umac.mo/siweb/).

      II. If students are required to settle the Room Rate Difference for Summer Stay, they should settle the difference within the payment period stated in Point B in order to reserve their bed space.

      III. Payment methods:

        a) Payment at bank's counter: Payment can be deposited into the University's account at any branch of Banco Nacional Ultramarino or Bank of China (Macau Branch). Cheques drawn on other banks should be presented to BNU or BOC two working days prior to the payment due date.
        b) On-line payment through Internet banking: Bank Account holder of Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Bank of China Macau Branch, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China or Tai Fung Bank can settle the payment through the on-line banking service provided by BNU, BOC Macau Branch, ICBC or TFB before 19:00 on the payment due date stated on the Debit Note. "University of Macau" is to be selected as payee, and payer needs to input the Debit Note number as the “Bill Number” for the on-line payment transaction. Fees for online banking transaction (if any) shall be borne by students.

      IV. Any LATE payment settlement will NOT be accepted, the application will be CANCELLED automatically and NO bed space will be reserved.

      V. Students who have not paid the summer stay fee within payment period will automatically be considered as given up the allocated bed space for Summer Stay Period and your e-debit note and overdue penalty will be deleted automatically from the Student Information (SI) system after 30 Sep 2021.

      VI. If students are assigned to a room type which is different from the one they are currently staying in for 2021 summer stay, students are required to procedure the change room procedure during the change room period stated on the final results, the entire period of PGH summer stay will be charged on the room type with HIGHER room rate.

      Note for PGH Summer Stay Fee:

        a) Summer stay fee will ONLY be refunded to students who have sent a written request to PGH for the cancellation of bed space before the commence date of 2021 Summer Stay and have NOT complete move-in procedure during 2021 Summer Stay.
        b) NO refund will be granted to students who have paid the PGH residence fee and decided to 
        move out from PGH within the Summer Stay period.

D. Procedure for Change Room:
Note: According to the declaration stated on the summer stay application, all applicants have agreed to cooperate with the PGH’s overall safety and environmental construction and change room during your stay. Students who fail to move to the new assigned room within the designed period stated in Point B will be considered as violate the Article 3 of “Postgraduate House Resident Rules” and concerned students will be imposed penalties.
      1) Before change room, student should...
      - Remove all personal belongings and garbage, otherwise, Garbage Removal Fee (MOP 370 per person) will be imposed.
      - Restore the room as its original condition, otherwise, Cleaning Fee (MOP 420 per room) will be imposed.
      - Clear the common area (eg. bathroom) even the other student in the same room has not moved out.

      2) Make Appointment with the Management Company for Change Room Procedure
      - Approach the Management Company personally to make appointment at least 1 day before your actual date of room changing.

      In case you are unable to change to the new room in person, you may choose to authorize another UM student to perform the change room procedure on your behalf. To perform the authorization process, please fill in the authorization form and attach the I.D. copies of both parties and hand them to the Management Company during the appointment.

      3) On the Appointment Date
        (a) Management Company staff will...
        - Check the cleanliness / conditions of the current room according to the equipment checklist.
        - Record the electricity and water meter reading for excess usage if any.

        (b) Student should...
        - Present Student ID to the Management Company staff and fill in the Room Changing Form.
        - Compensate any damaged or lost property in the room.
        - Return the room key card to the staff of Management Company.
        - Collect the new room key card.
        - Check the new room and complete the equipment checklist to confirm the condition of the new room. The checklist must be returned to Management Company Office located at S3-G003 within 3 days. If no checklist is received, it is assumed that the room is in good condition and student should bear the responsibility of any damage or lost of equipment.
E. Remarks:
      I. The following students required to move-out from PGH on or before 20 Jun 2021, 14:00.
        a) Accepted students who are staying in PGH but do NOT settle the summer stay fee on time;
        b) Students who are staying in PGH but do not applied for summer stay;
        c) Students who do not get approval for the summer stay application.

      II. Students must reserve the move-out procedure at the PGH Management Company (S3-G003) at least 72 hours (3 days) before the move-out date, if not, a handling fee of MOP500 will be charged. Receipt will be issued by the Management Company after the appointment is made (please keep it for further reference).

      For example, if a student would like to move out on 20 Jun (11:00am), s/he shall make the reservation via the Management Company on/before 17 Jun (11:00am).

      If students do not move out from PGH by the date stated in Point E-I, 
      besides residence fee, overstay penalty (MOP440/suite/per night, MOP220/single room/per night and MOP155/student in a shared room/per night) will be imposed until the completion of accommodation application or move-out procedure. Moreover, their room cards will be de-activated and an eviction order will also be issued to the overstayed students.

      III. PGH residents must return their room keys or cards and any other UM properties and pay all the related fees and fines upon move-out.

      IV. Students are required to remove the personal belongings and garbage in the room before move-out. Otherwise, their belongings in the room will be disposed and the Garbage Removal Fee (MOP370 per person) will be levied.

      V. For those residents who have moved out of PGH without performing the move-out procedure, UM shall not only take relevant disciplinary actions but also will charge the handling fees. UM will charge the residence fee and overstay penalty until move-out procedure is completed.

      VI. Room assignment is arranged by SRS. For any room with vacant beds, SRS reserves all rights to assign other students to them at any moment.

      VII. SRS reserves the right of final decision.
