| To give college members a practical experience in the fundamental skills of public speaking and to provide them with a focus for the learning of effective English communication and skills, Moon Chun Memorial College organized a series of public speaking workshops for all who are interested in improving their live presentation skills.
MCM College invited college affiliate, Mr. Kevin Maher, to be the guest speaker of the second workshop of the public speaking series. In this workshop, Mr. Maher first played videos of engaging and non-engaging speeches. By comparing the two videos, student are able to single out some common problems of ineffective speeches and learn from them. Supplemented by small group practices, students have a try on giving an engaging speech. |
