Dear colleagues and students,
As informed by Health Bureau, a UM student is found to be a close contact with the confirmed case of COVID-19 in Gaoxin District of Zhuhai. The student has stayed in Circle K of Research Building (N22), laboratories on the 7th and 8th floor of Research Building (N22), dancing room on the 3rd floor of UM Sports Complex (N8), and Subway of U Mall (S8) after returning to UM campus on 14 March. Related UM members have undergone nucleic acid test and have been arranged for medical observation. The 1st nucleic acid test results are all negative. If you concern that you may have risk of infection, you may make an appointment for free nucleic acid test through the link below. The result will not be shown on Macao Health Code, and cannot be used for entry or exit purpose at borders.

The pandemic situation of COVID-19 in Mainland China and Hong Kong is unstable. The risk of community infection is increasing. All UM members are reminded to implement anti-pandemic measures strictly, and avoid unnecessary travelling. Please also be reminded to scan the venue code when entering certain buildings on campus for recording your own itinerary.
