Dear colleagues and students,

Regarding the enquiry on a UM staff who had common activity track with the confirmed case of COVID-19, UM has the following reply:

10 August noon, a UM staff received notification from Health Bureau that the staff had common activity track with the confirmed case of COVID-19. The staff went to the Nucleic Acid Test Station at Pac On Ferry Terminal to have the test. The result was negative and the Health Code was green. Following the advice at the Station at Pac On Ferry Terminal, the staff took another nucleic acid test on 11 August. The result was negative, and the Health Code was green.

UM received notification from the concerned staff on 10 August afternoon, and has been closely monitoring the case. UM has also been implementing the measures advised by Health Bureau.

if you have any enquiry on your health status, you may contact Medical Center of UM (Tel.: 8822 4123) for medical advice. If you develop fever, respiratory symptoms, or suspect yourself to be infected, you may make appointment to have the free nucleic acid test with the link under the Macao Health Code (that is, http://app.ssm.gov.mo/mandatoryrnatestbook). This result is used for checking purpose only. It will not be uploaded to the Macao Health Code or used for entry-exit purpose.

Lastly, you are encouraged to have the vaccination of COVID-19 to build the immunity barrier together. Please refer to the appointment link below:
