| Details | In order to optimize and enhance the capacity of WAN infrastructure, ICTO will upgrade the current system to provide a more stable and reliable transmission network. During the work period, the internet service of specific user groups will be interrupted for a few seconds. The Internet service for other users will not be affected.
The expected outcomes of this upgrade include:
- To cope with the increasing demand of Internet usage by enhancing the capacity of WAN Infrastructure.
- Ensure the normal operation of on-line teaching and learning services in the University.
- Dynamic manage and allocate Internet bandwidth resources.
