Dear colleagues and students,

Due to the pandemic situation in Guangdong Province, Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre of the Macao Government has changed the Macao Health Code of persons who are now residing in Macao but have visited Guangzhou or Foshan within 14 days to RED. The Centre has also sent a message to remind them that they have to complete the nucleic acid test by 7 June 2021, 18:00 at Conde de S. Januário General Hospital, Kiang Wu Hospital or University Hospital (at University of Science and Technology). Those who do not complete the test without justified reason will be needed to undergo 14 days of medical observation at designated locations arranged by Health Bureau. When the test result is found negative, the Health Code will be turned yellow, and they have to carry out self-health management until 14 days after leaving Guangzhou or Foshan.

In addition, starting from 8 June 2021, 10:00, all persons travelling between Guangdong and Macao have to submit a nucleic acid certificate with negative result that is valid within 48 hours. If Macao residents entering Macao from Guangdong do not have the mentioned certificate, they will be asked to have the test immediately and wait for the result. Non-Macao residents are not allowed to enter Macao without the mentioned certificate. The nucleic acid test requirements for passengers entering Macao through airport remain unchanged.
