I have a date with UM after the epidemic
In just a few months from the beginning of New Year 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic quickly swept across the world, preventing most students from returning to campus as scheduled. Although everyone is under online classes arrangements at home, but the spatial distance brought by the epidemic cannot isolate the thoughts about the campus. The House Tutors of the Postgraduate House conducted a special online event under the theme of "I have a Date with UM After the Epidemic". The event uses Weibo and WeChat as the main platform, inviting students to share their pictures, videos or texts under the topic what they want to do most after the epidemic when they return to campus. After the launch of this event, students actively participated in comments and reports, expressing their thoughts about the UM and their enthusiasm for returning to campus.
The simple sentences on the platform represent the students' thoughts about UM, teachers and friends. In that small room, there were too many stories and memories. Some classmates may graduate when they return to campus, but because of the epidemic, they have not enough time to say sincere goodbye. But we firmly believe that all the haze will eventually dissipate, because we have an indispensable date with UM.
