澳大英語演講隊舉辦即興演講比賽
由澳門大學英語演講隊舉辦的即興演講比賽於10月26日圓滿完結。本次活動旨在通過模擬正式比賽的形式和流程，幫助隊員們適應限時準備的環境，提升針對特定主題的邏輯表達能力。
本次比賽每位參賽成員抽取壹道具有思辨性的演講主題，隨後進行2分鐘左右的即興演講，最後由導師針對演講內容給予評分。每位參賽成員都積極參與比賽，在不查閱任何資料的情況下，根據個人經歷以及相關領域知識儲備對主題做出精彩且獨特的詮釋。最終，由工商管理學院四年級、呂志和書院的吳春萱，社會科學學院二年級、曹光彪書院的王嘉琪，工商管理學院二年級、曹光彪書院的鄭芷茵以及人文學院一年級、滿珍紀念書院的李知分獲第壹名，第二名和並列第三名。
導師Claire和Natasha在最終的總結中表示很欣慰能夠看到每位參賽成員都在這次比賽中突破了自我，並且期待大家更長足的進益。成員們也紛紛表示在這次比賽中收獲了即興演講的實戰經驗，以便之後進行更廣泛的應用；並對自身的不足有所認識，進行更有針對性的反思與提升。
UM Public Speaking Team organized Impromptu Speech Contest
UM Public Speaking Team recently held an impromptu speech contest on 26 October, 2022. This activity is aimed at using the format and procedure of a formal contest to help members get used to the condition of limited preparation time and develop the ability of logical expression based on a certain topic.
Every contestant was given a speculative speech topic to immediately deliver a 2 minutes impromptu speech. Every contestant had excellent performance by using their knowledge and experience. At last, we are pleased to announce Tongtong (FBA, HC, LCWC), Rachel (FSS, CKPC), Grace (FBA, HC, CKPC), Sparkles (FAH, MCMC) as our Champion, First runner-up, and 2 Second runner-ups.
The coaches Claire and Natasha concluded that they were really proud to witness every contestant broke through their limits in this contest. They were also looking forward to the further progress of everyone. The contestants were also inspired by the experience they’ve acquired from this precious experience. They realized their particular shortcomings in the speech as well, which will motivate them to improve themselves better in the future.
