E-bulletin
Dear students,

Summer holiday is here, some teenagers have decided to take advantage of the staycation promotions offered by local hotels and gather friends together. While it is fun to hang around with friends, it is important to pay attention the hidden dangers, for example, strangers turning up in the gathering who may bring drugs, or food and beverages from unknown sources. Teenagers sometimes get carried away by emotion and they become less cautious towards possible risks such as drugs abuse, sexual assault or rape. As such, we would like to remind students the following:

Advice for teenagers:

1. Stay on guard and protect yourself, especially when strangers join in your gatherings;

2. Do not consume food and beverage from unknown sources or strangers. Discard your drinks if they have been out of sight;

3. Do not try drugs or alcohol out of curiosity or think you can get away with it;

4. Macao Penal Code stipulates that sexual intercourse with minors is a criminal offence;

Should you have any crime intelligence please contact us via the Safe School Network by the following means - Tel: 8800 5500, Fax: 2835 6895 or email: nam@pj.gov.mo. All information will be kept with confidentiality.
