Dear colleagues and students,
According to the notification from Guangdong Province and Zhuhai City authorities, several people who have contacted the asymptomatic infected case of COVID-19 from Zhongshan are staying in Macao. Health Bureau is tracking their activity path. As 1 research assistant from UM who is now in Zhuhai has taken the bus from Zhuhai Airport to Zhuhai Urban Rail Station with the asymptomatic infected person, and therefore, is now considered as close contact. He has already been arranged nucleic acid test as well as medical observation. In addition, Health Bureau has also arranged 4 secondary contacts to have nucleic acid test as well as medical observation in Macao.
UM has contacted Health Bureau immediately and followed-up accordingly. The laboratory (N21-2016) and concerned areas have already been deeply cleaned. If you feel unwell, please seek medical assistance at UM Medical Center. Please pay attention to official news only. Do not believe or spread rumors. Enhance our personal hygiene.
