Due to the cases of pneumonia associated with a novel infectious agent in Wuhan, the Macao government has raised the warning level to Level III (medium risk) and has strengthened the preventive measures at all ports. The first death case was found in Wuhan last week, and confirmed cases were found in Thailand and Japan.
Higher Education Bureau reminds all of you to pay attention to the disease development during the Chinese New Year holidays (especially if you are travelling to Wuhan), and implement preventive measures according to the advice from Health Bureau. Please refer to the attached guidelines (Chinese and Portuguese only):

Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs is keeping close contact with Health Bureau, and is conducting medical monitoring. Staff and students (with or without symptoms) who are travelling to Wuhan during the Chinese New Year holidays, please contact Phoebe Cheang (Tel.: 8822 8852; e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org) during office hours right after you return to Macao for conducting medical monitoring and tracking.
