Briefing Session of "Principals' Recommended Admission Scheme for Outstanding Student-Athletes (PRA-OSA)" was held successfully
The briefing session of "Principals' Recommended Admission Scheme for Outstanding Student-Athletes (PRA-OSA)" was successfully held on 26 Sep 2020 at UM Sports Complex (N8). There was a total number of 99 participants (Form 4 to Form 6 student-athletes and school teachers) from 23 high schools in Macau joining this activity.
The PRA-OSA scheme has been carried out since 2019, with the aim to attract the outstanding high school student-athletes to have the opportunity to be directly admitted to University of Macau and with scholarship, offering them a sustainable development platform to contribute and maintain their sports performance as well as to pursue an advance on their studies.
Ms. Grace Chau, Director of Office of Sports Affairs (OSA), introduced the development of UM and PRA-OSA scheme in the briefing session, followed by two students shared their experience of being the PRA-OSA scholarship recipients. In addition, OSA has arranged the Sports Facilities Visiting Tour after the briefing session, to let potential students have a better understanding of OSA and UM sports facilities.
