Prerequisites:
Successful completion of approximately 150 hours of Japanese language instruction, or its equivalent.
Students that have already completed second-year study of Japanese are welcome to apply provided they understand that this course will include a review of second-year material.
Total instruction hours: 120 hours
- Japanese language instruction (105 hours)
- Supervised experiential learning (5 hours)
- Lectures on Japan (10 hours)
Note: Applicants are required to complete a questionnaire to help instructors evaluate their Japanese language ability. Students will be placed according to language level in a maximum of 3 classes.

    5. Submit a recommendation letter of your advisor (including Japanese study period) as an application document (IN JAPANESE)
    6. Submit a cover letter in Japanese explaining your reasons for applying to this program in JAPANESE (approximately 400 words)
