ICTO received an information security alert from the Cybersecurity Incidents Alert and Response Center (CARIC). Recently, Adobe Inc. has released the security updates for Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader to prevent hackers from exploiting the vulnerabilities to trigger the execution of malicious programmme on targeted system. If you have installed the following software, you are recommended to update it as soon as possible.
- Acrobat DC, Reader DC: 21.007.20099 and old versions
- Acrobat 2020, Reader 2020: 20.004.30017 and old versions
- Acrobat 2017, Reader 2017: 17.011.30204 and old versions

Generally, the software will provide auto-update function. However, users can also select [Help] > [Check for Updates...] from Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to check the update status.
