“One Team, One Mission” Student Leadership Training Camp Moon Chun Memorial College organised its signature event Student Leadership Training Camp during 24th – 25th September, 2022 at KáHó Don Bosco Youth Village, targeting the newly appointed groups of Resident Assistants (RAs), Resident Tutors (RTs) and House Association Executives (HAs). The theme for this training is "One Team, One Mission", which aims to enhance students' leadership and communication skills, as well as to cultivate their team spirit, service spirit and personal leadership qualities.
On the first day, Resident Fellows Dr. Peggy Lau and Miss. Alice Hong, promoted mutual understanding among participants through various group games. Under further guidance, participants discussed on the notion of "Quality, Distinctiveness, Élan, Flair, Identity and Brand", and shared their views on how to build college culture according to those six imperatives. On the second day, participants carried out various “low event challenge activities” under the guidance of two Adventure Instructors. They also learnt how to accommodate everyone's opinions, lead the group to achieve a common goal, and build an effective team together. In the final "Mission Impossible", participants had to step out of their comfort zones, accept challenges, and experience the power of team support. After that grueling two-day training camp, all the student leaders became more united as one, and now are determined to work together to fulfill the mission of MCM college. |
