Getting to Know the Intellectually Disabled and Volunteer Work

On 12 October 2022, MCM College was delighted to invite Macau Special Olympics staff to deliver a speech and promote social inclusion. The event covered different categories of individuals with disabilities, including communication skills with people with intellectual disabilities, organisation background and services. In addition, students were encouraged to join and help out with the forthcoming basketball competition. On 23 October 2022, twelve students participated in the basketball competition as volunteers. Their tasks included signing in for athletes, helping out in the competition area, and operating game booths. Although these tasks may seem insignificant, nonetheless, all volunteers complete their work enthusiastically.
