ICTO Tips - Easy way to activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides a second layer of security to your UMPASS account. Verifying your identity using your mobile devices prevent anyone but you from logging in. It is required only when you access UM ICTO service outside Campus Network.

To use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), follow these easy steps:
Step 1) Download "Duo Mobile" APP
Step 2) Read setup guide
Step 3) Register 2FA by using device to connect with campus Intranet (UM wired network or UM Wi-Fi network)
Step 4) Access ICTO Account Information Page to confirm whether 2FA service is successfully activated.
Upon the completion of the above steps, your 2FA service will take effect.
 During the registration, please choose "Tablet".
"Tablet" does not require phone number for registration. It is suitable for both mobile and tablet devices.
