Dear colleagues and students,
The annual charity event, Walk for a Million, will be held online this year on 12 December (Sunday). You are welcome to join the UM team by scanning the QR code and the steps below.
You will receive an electronic walking certificate in recognition of participation in this charity event when complete 6,000 steps or more during the day of the walk, and a chance to win a UM 40th anniversary Commemorative Stamp Set (ten sets for staff and students respectively).
1. How to join the online walk:

·Each WeChat ID can only join one team
·Scan the QR code and register before 23:59, 10 Dec to join the online walk
| ·Follow the official WeChat account of Walk for a Million and click the link generated from the system to join UM Team
·You will receive a walking pass for successful registration
 | You may share the link and poster to invite other people to join UM Team

2. Enable WeRun for Step Counting
Participants should enable WeRun for step counting during 10:00 – 16:00 on 12 Dec, the number of steps will not be calculated by the system for overtime synchronization (This can be done repeatedly without affecting the original number of steps on WeRun).
3. Lucky draw for UM Team online walk
Staff
Those who have made over 6,000 steps in the online Walk for a Million under the group of ‘University of Macau’, please fill in the registration form and submit the electronic certificate to CO via the unit representative before 14 December (Tuesday), it will be counted for prize calculation and lucky draw .

Students
Students who have made over 6,000 steps in the online Walk for a Million under the group of ‘University of Macau’, please submit the 6,000 steps electronic certificates on https://go.um.edu.mo/n8nsam36 for prize calculation and lucky draw before 14 December (Tuesday). They will receive one Smart Point and 35 CS points for Responsible Citizenship.
·When filling out the online form for uploading the certificate, students can only choose either ‘student organisation’ or ‘residential college’
