Dear Postgraduate Students,

According to Article 149 of Code of Administrative Procedure about the period of submit a complaint against an administrative decision, the complaint period for Accepted Application List of 1st Semester of Academic Year 2021/2022 has expired and SRS will not accept any appeal afterward.

Please be informed of the attached application result for the accommodation of the 1st sem of AY2021/2022. The present application is handled according to the “PGH Resident Rules” and the “Guidelines for Assessing the Applications for UM PGH Accommodation”, both of which were announced before and are attached. Since there are not enough bed spaces in the PGH, the University can only ensure accommodation for the year-one postgraduate students who do not have a residence in Macao. After bed spaces are given to the afore-mentioned year-one students, the remaining bed spaces are not enough to accommodate all existing students.

The present approval list includes the following students:
    1) The students who are guaranteed accommodation (please refer to item 3 of article 2 of the above-mentioned guidelines for who these students are);
    2) 200 students who have the highest numbers of PGH points* (the students in the above point #1 are not counted towards these 200 bed spaces). The PGH points of these 200 students range between 64 and 22 (only part of the students who have 22 PGH points are given a bed space and they were chosen by lucky draw because bed spaces are not enough);
    3) Remaining PhD students who will be within normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2021/2022 and whose PGH points are >= 0;
    4) Remaining PhD students who will be beyond normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2021/2022 and whose PGH points are >= 0;
    5) Remaining Master’s students who will be within normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2021/2022 and who have not less than 13 PGH points (only part of this type of students who have 13 PGH points are given a bed space and they were chosen by lucky draw because bed spaces are not enough).
    * Only the PGH points gained between 18 Apr 2020 and 10 Apr 2021 are counted towards the present application.

For students who are not offered bed spaces:
Students whose applications are not accepted at the moment have been placed on the attached waiting list in a sequence decided according to the above-mentioned guidelines. If there are bed spaces released from students who fail to settle the payment or from students who cancel their applications, the bed spaces will be allocated according to the waiting list order, except for the situation mentioned in article 3 of the above-mentioned guidelines. Students will be informed of the offers by emails on or before 18 June 2021.

Students who are not offered bed spaces should arrange off-campus accommodation themselves. The Student Affairs Office provides the following service and information, and will provide as much support as possible:
