We would like to let you know that the result of PGH Single Room application for 1st semester of academic year 2021/2022 as below:

C. Procedure for Room Changing :
1) Before room change, student should...
- Remove all personal belongings and garbage, otherwise, Garbage Removal Fee (MOP 370 per person) will be imposed.
- Restore the room as its original condition, otherwise, Cleaning Fee (MOP 420 per room) will be imposed.
- Clear the common area (eg. bathroom) even the other student in the same room has not moved out.
2) During the room changing period...
(a) Student should...
- Present Student ID to the Management Company staff and fill in the Room Changing Form.
- Compensate any damaged or lost property in the room.
- Return the room key card to the staff of Management Company.
- Collect the new room key card.
- Check the new room and complete the equipment checklist to confirm the condition of the new room. The checklist must be returned to Management Company Office located at S3-G003 within 3 days. If no checklist is received, it is assumed that the room is in good condition and student should bear the responsibility of any damage or lost of equipment.
4. In case you are unable to change to the new room in person, you may choose to authorize another UM student to perform the room changing procedure on your behalf. To perform the authorization process, please fill in the authorization form and attach the I.D. copies of both parties and hand them to the Management Company during the appointment.

(b) Management Company staff will...
- Check the cleanliness / conditions of the current room according to the equipment checklist.
- Record the electricity and water meter reading for excess usage if any.
D. Points to Note:
- After the single room application, no matter successful or not, the extra awarded PGH Points will NOT be accumulated.
- Please be reminded that the single room stay period for this application is from 13 August 2021 to 31 May 2022. Students who are successfully assigned for a single room and complete the room changing procedure, their point(s) accumulated within the calculation period will be reverted to zero.
- For students who gave up OR failed to change within the designated period , their PGH points could be carried forward for the next application.
- Students who DID NOT perform their room changing procedure within the designated period will be treated as giving up the newly arranged room. Besides, students might not be able to stay in the original room. Completion of PGH room change procedure refers to completion of move out of the previous room and move in the newly assigned room.

- ALL residents can only change their room ONCE per semester.
- SRS will assign the single room to those successful applicants randomly and no change of single room is allowed.
- Student who has completed the room change procedure from shared room to single room during the room change period, the PGH residence fee of 1st semester of AY2021/2022 (i.e. August to December 2021) will be charged based on the room type with higher room rate.
- The residents who are successfully changed from shared room to single room will receive a debit note one month later to pay the room rate difference. Kindly check the Student Information Web System from time to time and settle the payment on time.
- SRS has the rights to make the final decision.
