Moon Chun Memorial College: “Casa de Antiguidade” Lusophone Film Appreciation
 
 MCM College students participated in the 3rd China and Lusophone Film Festival which was staged by Cinematheque Passion. The aim was to cultivate film appreciation and strengthen students’ cultural exchanges between China and Lusophone countries. The Film Festival provided a platform between China and Lusophone countries through the silver screen. MCM College selected “Casa de Antiguidade” which was premiered on 21st November, 2021, attracting a group to twelve students from Portuguese Studies, Chinese and Portuguese Translation, and Law.
After the film, the participants gathered for a post-screening sharing. They were all deeply impressed by the film’s theme and narrative style. It gave them an insight into the hardships of authentic Brazilian life, and broadened their cultural horizons. |
