Assignment Cancellation 第二學期不續住申請

Dear PGH residents,

If you are planning to move-out in 1st semester of AY2022/2023 and DO NOT need accommodation for 2nd semester of AY2022/2023, please SUBMIT this "Assignment Cancellation".

If you FAIL TO CANCEL, your accommodation will be AUTOMATICALLY renewed for 2nd semester of AY2022/2023 and FULL accommodation fee of the semester will be charged.

In order to avoid incurring related costs and update the waitlist as soon as possible, students must submit the "Assignment Cancellation" on time.

We would like to let you know that the “Assignment Cancellation for 2nd Semester of AY2022/2023” will be opened for application from 9 November 2022 to 15 November 2022. Details of the application are as follows:

A. Eligible applicants: Only current PGH residents who DO NOT need to renew the accommodation for 2nd semester of AY2022/2023 OR those who are not eligible for renewal#.
# Residents who have reached the maximum study period / received an eviction order / with negative PGH points at the end of the designated PGH point accumulation period / whose status have been changed to “graduated”, “withdrawal”, “deferred”, “inactive” and etc., if submission for assignment cancellation is not received, the system will automatically review and the move-out notification will be sent by email.

B. Schedule:

31 December 2022, before 14:00

C. Notes for applicants:
I. For current PGH residents who DO NOT need to renew the accommodation for 2nd semester of AY2022/2023 OR those who are not eligible for renewal, the last move-out date is 31 December 2022 before 14:00.

II. Move-out procedure: students must reserve the move-out appointment at the PGH Management Company (S3-G003) at least 72 hours (3 days) before the move-out date, otherwise a handling fee of MOP500 will be charged.
    E.g. If a student would like to move-out on 31 December (11:00am), he/she shall make the reservation via the Management Company on/before 28 December (11:00am).
    - PGH residents must return their room keys or cards and any other UM properties and pay all related fees and fines upon move-out.

    - Residents are required to remove their personal belongings and garbage in the room before move-out. Otherwise, their belongings in the room will be disposed of and the Garbage Removal Fee (MOP370 per person) will be charged.

III. Overstay penalty: for residents who did not move-out of PGH by the date stated inPoint C-I, their room cards will be deactivated and an eviction order will be issued to overstayed residents. Moreover, the resident will be charged the residence fee of the relative residence period and an extra overstay penalty (MOP440/suite/per night, MOP220/single room/per night and MOP155/resident in a shared room/per night) according to the type of the occupied room until the completion of accommodation application or move-out procedure.

For those residents who have moved out of PGH WITHOUT performing the move-out procedure, UM will take relevant disciplinary actions, handling fees will also be charged. UM will charge the residence fee and overstay penalty until the move-out procedure is completed.

#如修讀年期屆滿、被勒令遷離宿舍、在指定宿舍積分累積期末宿舍積分為負分 及 學籍已轉為“畢業”、“退學”、“休學”、“不在學”等非在學狀態之宿生而需要退宿者,若無提交不續住申請,系統將自動檢核並以電郵通知退宿安排。

C. 申請人注意事項:
I. 第二學期無意願續住研究生宿舍 或 不符合續住資格之研究生宿舍宿生需於2022年12月31日14:00或之前完成退宿手續。

II.
遷離宿舍手續:宿生在正式遷離研究生宿舍前,須至少提前三天於管理公司預約遷離手續及填寫研究生宿舍遷離宿舍表。否則,學生將被徵收澳門元500行政費。
    例如:同學計劃在12月31日(上午11:00)遷離宿舍,他必須在12月28日(上午11:00)或之前到管理公司預約退宿,否則,他將須繳付澳門元500行政費。
    - 宿生在遷離研究生宿舍時,必須歸還房間鑰匙或門卡以及任何其他澳門大學財產,並支付所有相關費用和罰款。

    - 學生應於退宿日前清除房間內所有個人物品及垃圾,否則房間裡的物品將被丟棄,且須繳付垃圾處理費 (澳門元370/每人) 。

III. 逾期遷出費用:如果宿生未能在C-I點規定的日期或之前離開研究生宿舍,宿生持有的房卡將被停用,且宿生將被勒令立即遷離宿舍。此外,該宿生將被徵收該學期相應的住宿費用,且需額外按其佔用的房間類型繳付逾期遷出費 (澳門元440/套房/每晚,澳門元220/單人間/每晚,澳門元155/雙人間/每晚/每人) 直至相應遷離宿舍手續辦妥為止。

對於未完成退宿手續便擅自離開宿舍的宿生,澳門大學將採取相關的紀律處分,並向相關學生徵收手續費。學生將須繳付住宿費及逾期遷出費直至相應手續辦妥為止。
